Discord Emoji Map project

This project aims to generate a stable, complete, and easy-to-parse map of Discord emojis. The project is comprised of 2 main components:

  • definition fetcher: this component fetches the definitions from Discord's assets, performs some pre-parsing, and spits out raw data.
  • map generator: this component uses the pre-parsed raw data, filters, adjusts, flattens, and otherwise processes it into a nice JSON file, which comes in 2 flavours: human-readable, and minified.

Automation

Thanks to GitLab CI, generation pipeline is automated, and generates new definitions for canary and stable every 4h.
